Hi,
I have tried, but I am not able to insert more than one revision entry when I convert it to docbook. There is any workaround to do this ? Thanks in advance, |

Hello I am not near my pc so I don't have the details. The trick is to use an xml include file (with the same name as the main asciidoc). This xml should/can contain the extra docbook fields like title page media data, revisions, etc. There is a note about that somewhere in the docs. Let me know if you need more info Jmm Not sent from my PC Le 6 mars 2014 16:51, "rogerpt [via Asciidoctor :: Discussion]" <[hidden email]> a écrit :

Hi,
Jmm thanks for you reply. I think you're talking about the following instructions: https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor/issues/193 However, following that link I only can include the revision history in the appendix, when I want to have a list in the begin of the document. Thanks. |

:-) The placement of the different components when using Docbook is controlled by the customization layer and the title page setup in particular. Not sent from my PC Le 7 mars 2014 11:46, "rogerpt [via Asciidoctor :: Discussion]" <[hidden email]> a écrit :

Hey Jmm,
I am completely aware of that. But what I want is to have multiple revisions entries inside <book><info>....</info> . With the methods described on the link that I posted, the revisions are placed in the glossary or on the preface. I am just asking if there is way to put all those entries in the book info ? Thanks. |

Ok. I start to get the picture. I'll show you tonight how I proceed and see if that fits your needs. Not sent from my PC Le 7 mars 2014 16:47, "rogerpt [via Asciidoctor :: Discussion]" <[hidden email]> a écrit :

Hello, (sorry for late reply, been more busy than expected) This is how I proceed. Lets say that my master document is "mydoc.adoc". I add the property ":docinfo:" at the top and create a document called "mydoc-docinfo.xml" (filename with suffix "-docinfo.xml".
The xml file contains valid bookinfo or articleinfo elements. This is how I define the multiple revision history: <revhistory>
<revision> <revnumber>0.01</revnumber> <date>2011-12-14</date>
<authorinitials>Jmm</authorinitials> <revremark>First draft</revremark>
</revision> <revision> <revnumber>0.02</revnumber>
<date>2011-12-27</date> <authorinitials>Jmm</authorinitials> <revremark>
Major restructuring, splitting Functional and Non-Functional Requirements into separate chapters.
</revremark> </revision> <revision>
<revnumber>0.03</revnumber> <date>2012-01-23</date> <authorinitials>mpo</authorinitials>
<revremark> Rework Functional and Non-Functional Requirements. </revremark>
</revision> </revhistory> Hope that it helps. Jmm 2014-03-07 17:03 GMT+01:00 Jean-Marc Meessen <[hidden email]>:
