Hello, I would like to use the DouloSIL font to produce a PDF document that has phonetic symbols.
The DouloSIL font is only available in regular, but it's not a big deal because I only use it for paragraphs which doesn't need bold, italic, or underline. However I would like to have bold on headers (even if the font is different). Is it possible to configure the cutom yaml file in a way that only the paragraphs are in "DoulosSIL" and the other parts (headers, warning messages, tips, etc...) use the default font? The "base" key targets the entire document, but I didn't see a key which targets only the paragraphs on the page. |

I believe you are looking for the prose key. Setting a font_family on "prose" gives an error.
In the end I switched to the CharisSIL font which seems to work fine and comes with all four variants. The page numbering doesn't show up however. Is page numbering a font related feature? ![]() |

Oops, my mistake. Setting font family hasn't been implemented. Perhaps it should be. Sorry to have misled you. Page numbering is not linked to fonts. It is controlled by the pagenums attribute, which is enabled by default. However, if you create a custom theme, you must be sure to include the keys in the theme file that control the header and footer. See the default theme file for the config to copy. Another way to set the prose font would be to set the base font, then set the font for each non-prose element, such as headings. I'll admit this is not the cleanest approach.
